Stonewood say goodbye to 2020-2022 charity partners

The time has come for us to say farewell to our charity partners; Brain Tumour Research & Wiltshire Air Ambulance, that we have proudly been working with from 2020-2022. It has been a fantastic three years but sadly all good things must come to an end.

Over the years we have managed to raise over £28,000 for both charities through a variety of events. What was originally only meant to be a two year partnership quickly turned into 3, so we could make up for the lost year during Covid.

For Brain Tumour Research we have got involved with numerous Wear a Hat Days and a couple of ‘Walk of Hopes’. In 2022 to aid our fundraising on Wear a Hat day, we sold our own Stonewood branded Brain Tumour Research bobble hats across all our offices. These are still available to purchase with all funds going to BTR.

For Wiltshire Air Ambulance, a team of eight entered their ‘It’s a Knockout’ tournament, where Stonewood knocked out all the competition to take home the trophy at the end of the day. We will return in 2023

In 2021 Stonewood hosted a networking event with clients, cycling 50 or 100 miles around the Cotswolds, raising an astonishing £18,000 for both charities.

As a nice little bonus, Stonewood Homes also sold the old show home furniture at their Tannery and Somerbrook developments for £2,406!

Stonewood also chose to make a donation to our charities instead of Christmas cards in 2022, donating a further £1000 to each charity.

Thank you to the teams at BTR & WAA for your support over the years. We promise to stay in touch and continue to support wherever we can!
